"Everything Is Perfect" Diego Jacobson's Solo Chelsea Exhibition

“Everything Is Perfect.” And the declaration came on a day that was bedlam, a day that was in- between all days, that could go in any and all directions of probability, and there it was, this painting that appeared and not from nowhere, but from a very important somewhere and I was able to exhale deeply. Diego Jacobson was destined to usher in the great era of invention known as art that renders the conscious, and the unconscious, matter, and energy, spirit choreographed into the scaffolding of worldly knowledge, making practical the spirit with a vision that stuns with instant understanding. It was not a destiny that was prescribed but a destiny that was commanded by a man who has made many jour- neys. He has journeyed outside, around the world, to all of its spiritual apogees, and inside to all the worlds, and has delivered a precise abstraction, translated from the jour- neys made outside and the journeys made inside. And the irony of it all is, “Everything Is Perfect,” is an acute description of this work, and the description of the constant state of universal, ineffable perfection.
