Isn’t it time?
Dear Sir/Madam!
The country I am coming from, is an environment patient groaning for medicine.
Greece is not only injured by the fire disaster in 2007-2009, our country is raped by our self in more than a few and sophisticated ways. The grade of our environmental consciousness is still underdeveloped; the critical mass is not reached yet. In comparison to other European countries we are the proudly producers of a 30 years delay.
What could help to reach the critical mass?
I don’t know, perhaps the power of art?
Maybe an art project initiated by Greek and international art institutions with many involved artists of several disciplines?
What is your opinion?
Do you have a tip for me?
I write you as an artist and as a mother who is afraid that my 4,5 years old daughter has to hunt in 20 years for clean water and healthy food than enjoying art themes. What I know is that my works and my voice are probably just a drop in the hot Greek |
